The strength of the Brazilian neuroscience
linked to the format of the event, made the Brazilian Congress on
Brain, Behavior and Emotions an internationally recognized success.
In 2013, occurs the first edition of a global magnitude, the World
Congress on Brain, Behavior and Emotions. There will
be four days of intense activities, bringing together the most important
names of the areas involved in the relationship between mind and
brain. The scientific program integrates science to the clinical
area, providing an interface among the specialties of neurology,
psychiatry, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, psychology, geriatrics,
sleep and basic neuroscience.
With an expected audience of 4000 people
participating and more than 150 distinguished speakers from different
parts of the world, as the researchers Adrian Raine, Andres Lozano,
Antoine Bechara, Antonio Damasio, Eurípedes C. Miguel, Gustavo
Turecki, Hanna Damasio, Howard Steiger, Ivan Izquierdo, Jaderson
C. da Costa, Jair Mari, Jorge Moll Neto, Ley Sander, Paulo Caramelli,
Ricardo Nitrini, Richard E. Tremblay, Roger Mcintyre, Stephen Suomi
and Valentim Gentil, the WCBBE, promotes an interdisciplinary debate
on technological innovations, studies and controversies, being a
successful tool for scientific update.
